In this session, end-of-life educator Cryst’l Scheer will provide a clear, practical introduction to advance care planning. Attendees will learn what advance directives are, why they matter, and how to begin documenting healthcare wishes before a medical emergency happens. The session will cover choosing a healthcare agent, thinking through future care preferences, understanding how advance directives differ by state, and taking simple first steps to ensure important conversations and documents are not left until a crisis. Participants will leave with greater clarity, practical next steps, and a stronger foundation for long-term freedom on the road.
